Powers & Abilities[]
Raid proves to be an excellent fighter with his exceptional skills on the battlefield. Wielding the Nox Crystarium named Yukikura, Raid controls the element of ice (opposing his twin who controls fire), wielding it with such efficiency that he is able to shape the ice he creates into different forms such as series of blades and is able to propel himself on one. His ability of ice also allows him to manipulates water, forming a comparable duo with his ice capabillities in battle. His swordmanship as well as his powers rival and contrasts that of his brother Cross. While Cross fights with savage, powerful blows and speed slashing, Raid's style is elegant (although it should be noted that the damage output on Raid's attacks are considerably powerful like Cross), which strangely polarizes his own personality affected by Yukikura. Interestingly, Raid and Rini sports the same EX Attack, Ice Barrage and Wishing Edge, possibly hinting that Raid is capable of learning that attack at one point.
Apparently, Raid is the only person that has the power of the Order Grimoire besides The 13 Wizards of Anthologies. According to Minato, Raid's Order Grimoire is currently surpressed because of Yukikura's influence. There are hints of the Raid's Order showing up periodically in the series, but not in its full potential. However, according to Rini, should Raid's Order Grimoire managed to overcome his Crystarium, then she said that Raid will become Cross's "greatest enemy". This is also confirmed by Minato.
Raid's EX Mode is Yukianesa's Sword. By harnessing his Crystarium's power, Raid is capable of encasing his opponent in ice at anytime without waiting twice to recharge it. Raid also capable of dashing in the air real fast than his normal one or even breaking the limit of the Air Dash itself. Unlike other characters in the series, Raid's Drive Gauge is broken up into four bars instead the usual two the others have. His EX attacks use one bar each, although incredibly potent as they deal multiple hits in one strike.
