The Fate Link (運命リンク, Unmei Link) expresses the level of friendship you have with your fellow playable friends, similar to Social Link system in Persona 3 and Persona 4. As this favor level increases, your allies will unlock new abilities and potentials such as elemental resistances or unlock new Summons. It does not matter which route you gained access to the Fate Link as well if the Fate Link have yet reached Rank 10 since it can be continued on the next route you're playing.

Ranks[]

In the game there are eleven ranks a character can have, zero through ten. Each rank grants special abilities and bonus for that character.

  • Rank 1: The character gains resistance to one or more elements.
  • Rank 2: The character will take a mortal blow for the Hero/Heroine against an attack that would normally kill him/her.
  • Rank 3: A special summon is unlocked (see below).
  • Rank 4: The character gains a special "Follow-Up Attacks" if the Hero/Heroine incapacitates or critically hits the enemy.
  • Rank 5: The character will cure a party member from a negative status effects.
  • Rank 6: The character will formed a "Union Raid" attack with the Hero/Heroine.
  • Rank 7: Some of the character's stats are increased.
  • Rank 8: The characters gains resistance to another one or more elements.
  • Rank 9: The character will survived a fatal attack and reducing their HP to 1.
  • Rank 10: Another special summon is unlocked (see below).
